Medical update

Ok, so I went to see an RN about the 10 week long period. She did a pelvic exam (my first ever, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be). No polyps, so it's probably due to hormonal weirdness. She checked my thyroid levels (I've been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and am on meds for it) and found that I need to be on stronger thyroid meds. Which is awesome, because 1)this will probably even out my periods and 2)they increase your metabolism. So she's going to write me a prescription for 75mcg pills, as opposed to the 50mcg I'm taking now. So I'll be sitting on about 2 months of 50mcg pills I already have, and yes, I plan to abuse them somewhat. I mean, 100mcg, 75mcg, what's the difference. Nobody lecture me, either, I don't want to hear it.

I'm also going to get some birth control to really regulate my periods, and maybe clear up my complexion a bit too (although it's been fairly good lately).

She also said my cholesterol was high. I don't doubt it, I've been slacking on the gym and eating way more fast food than usual. I'm going to cut way down on the fast food and fatty crap. I don't want to be on cholesterol meds, too. I already feel like a walking pharmacy.

I did go to the gym Monday. Weight: 231. That is disgraceful, but I don't really feel any different than I do when I weight, say, 224, so maybe it was water or whatever. I'm going to the gym today, too, come hell or high water.
