Better disinfect that ass, prof, because here I come

Applying to graduate school is such a fucking hassle. It's not like applying as an undergrad, where it just depended on your grades and test scores, and possibly somewhat on some gay essay. All that shit matters for graduate school, too, but the big thing is that you have to find a professor to sponsor you and say that they want you in their program or you're just not getting in. No matter what your scores are. So I have to do all this research into what the professors are working on and send off a bunch of bullshit ass-kissing letters to the effect that everything they're working on is so interesting and that I would love to be a part of their fascinating work. Pucker up. And they really want you to have some idea of what sort of huge research project you want to work on in graduate school. How the fuck would I know? I'm just some college kid cranking out papers and cramming for tests. I don't even know what's out there. All I know is that you can't get anything but shitty entry level jobs with just a B.S. in biology. And it seems that no matter how much work I do on these damn applications, and it's a lot, my advisor always has something else for me to do or look into before I can send them off. It's enough to make you gnaw your own leg off.
